We are currently seeking rehabilitation assistants for our activity center in Södertälje to strengthen and complement our team. We work on behalf of the Social Psychiatry and the Agency for Harmful Use and Addiction. Our activity center provides arenas for work training, engagement, and social interaction for individuals with mental disabilities, mental health issues, and substance abuse problems. Our goal is to promote a return to work, studies, and an expanded social network for our participants. Participation is our guiding principle, meaning that the participants' needs and wishes shape the operations in harmony with evidence-based methods that promote recovery. We collaborate with both internal and external partners, such as NSPH Stockholm, RSMH Södertälje-Nykvarn, study associations, and sports clubs, in the development of our operations.
Your responsibilities
You will be part of a team with other rehabilitation assistants who lead our activity groups. You also have the role of a resource person for a number of participants, where you meet regularly to write and follow up on implementation plans based on the participants' wishes and needs. You document your work, report back to the social secretary who decides on the intervention, and collaborate with job coaches and employment consultants. You also make other contacts as required to ensure that your participants receive the best possible support in their rehabilitation.

Requirements:
- Education as a rehabilitation assistant, social pedagogue, or other relevant education.
- Experience working in social psychiatry and/or harmful use and addiction.
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented working methods.
- Ability to create safety, trust, and confidence.
- Good teamwork skills and a professional and empathetic approach.
Merits:
- Trained in DBT skills training (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
- Experience in mentoring both individually and in groups.
- Trained and experienced in low-affective handling.
- Training in ESL, MI, and IBIC.
Personal qualities:
- You enjoy collaborating and finding solutions together with your colleagues, but can also drive and plan your own work.
- You are calm and stable in your contact with participants and can convey hope and belief to those you meet.
- You take initiatives that contribute to the development of the work.
- You have a salutogenic approach.

The position is a fixed-term appointment until 2027-08-31.
Here, you will become part of an experienced work group with a broad range of different competencies. You will have opportunities for education and development in your assignment. We work based on the principle of close leadership, so that you have access to both the unit manager and two group leaders who support you in daily work. The current position is located at Nygatan 4.
